Gibralter

Gibraltar was ceded to Great Britain by Spain in the 1713 Treaty of Utrecht; the British garrison was formally declared a colony in 1830. In referendums held in 1967 and 2002, they voted overwhelmingly to remain a British dependency.

Located in Southwestern Europe, bordering the Strait of Gibraltar, which links the Mediterranean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, on the southern coast of Spain. It's primary income is from tourism, the currency is the Gibralter Pound.

A population of 27,833 occupy 6.5 sq km.

The weather is Mediterranean with mild winters and warm summers at 36º 8' N, 5º 2'1 W.
The land is a narrow coastal lowland accented by the Rock of Gibraltar.
